Hi Marc, welcome to the forum. October is a fantastic month to start walking the camino. Weather-wise: not hot, not cold. The crowds have gone, but still lots of pilgrims to meet and share the journey with. Have a wonderful time. Jill

Thanks Jill, I just completed 1500 miles of the Appalachian Trail last week, my feet are wiped out but I will be ready and the Camino should be an easy "vacation" compared to what I just went through for 4 months...

Hello Mark my name is Holly, I am from Ocean Springs MS and I will start my 1st camino inSJPP on October 12. Which route are you taking? I have always wanted to take the Napoleon route but am concerned about the weather this time of year.
