best transportation

Because of a limited time frame, we will be trekking from San Sebastian to Bilbao and then from O Coruna to Santiago to Finisterre, on to Muxia. I am looking for the best ( most frugal, fastest) way from Bilbao to O Coruna. Thoughts from seasoned pilgrims?

ALSA bus is about 52E and takes about 11 hours.

Bilbao to A Coruna is 10 hours 33 minutes by Renfe.

ALSA bus can take as little as 7 hours 35 minutes. So bus is probably the most efficient.
