Bike rental options on the Camino?

Time of past OR future Camino
March (2020)
I’m leaving from Le Puy en Valey to SJPD and from there on to Santiago de Compostela. I want to walk more than I ride, but, from time to time I would like to ride 100-150 in a day.. maybe two. Is there a service that can return the bike back to where I picked it up??

I don’t have biking experience on the Frances, but I do remember many people who rented bikes to cross the meseta. They rented the bike in Burgos and dropped off in Leon. I do have experience biking the Portuguese and there were many rental companies who will do one way rentals. Not sure if they will pick up at locations other than a large city or just from SdC. Use the Google - you’ll probably find a few who will accommodate you.

Thank you! I hope so. I’ll certainly keep the info for future reference e if I do do find what I need…

Hi JoEllen. I’m cycling From Pamplona to Santiago Compostela strating 27 May. I rented my bike with Cycling Rental. They drop off at your start & pick up at your finish anywhere along the route.. If you know your dates & starting b/finishing points l’m sure they can help you. They offer a variety of packages. I found them very helpful. Hope you get sorted.

Thank you! I was hoping to walk the majority of the Camino from SJPD to Santiago de Compostela. It’s France, from Le Puy en Valey to SJPD I was hoping to cycle at least 1/2. Hopefully in Le Puy I can make some kind of connection. Thanks!!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Starting my first cycle Camino Francais/ Pamplona to Santiago Compostela 27 May and finishing 10 June.
broken into 13 stages with rest days. Feeling nervous about the challenge but looking forward to the experience. I've been endurance training so feel confident about the route chosen. Camino Francés CICERONE
Looking forward to the community spirit and meeting other Bicigrinos on the way. Buen Camino to everyone on their first Camino.
