I am walking in March and April of 2019.
Hello all! I am meeting up w fellow pilgrims in Bilbao, then we need to travel to St Jean to begin walking the CF. As far as i can tell we need to take 4 trains to get there. There is a bus to Bayonne but its a lot more expensive than the trains. Anyone have more info, perhaps know of an easier way to get to St Jean from Bilbao?

Hi Lisa, I caught the bus from Bilbao to Pamplona and then another bus to St Jean pied de port, that was in 2018, bus timetables shouldn't have changed much since then surely. Have a great time!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Look at the Flix bus to Bayonne, then the train to SJPDP. When I pull up the fare on Flix it is only about $14.
I just did this Flix to Bayonne then train, I dont think it was very expensive? And definitely quick, just know the Flix bus is always late and dont stress about that. It drops you off very close to the train staion, maybe a ten minute walk.
