Booking accommodation

Hi there

We are walking from Ponferrada to Sarria in May picking up where we left off last year however one of our companions (who booked all the accommodation last year) is not coming this year - we didn't stay in the albergues, we stayed in B&B's etc
My question is this - I am booking on behalf of our group this year & don't speak any Spanish - does the B&B/hostal owners speak English as I have to phone them?

Thanking you in advance
Eimear

Have a go and see what happens but I fear that you may find simply talking on English on the telephone won't work. Why not make your bookings through the Camino Travel Centre and then you can be sure that they will be made sucessfully?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
