Books and ear plugs

I,m now 2 weeks into my vdlp camino.BRING EAR PLUGS!!!!! and BRING A BOOK! sometimes the room are crowded and the noise can be unbearable.A book is also advisable as there are long afternoons recuperating when a book is just what is needed-especially when meals are not available until late at night
