Hello, planning my Camino August thru October. I am having a difficult time finding good mid cut boots that are not full leather in my size which is 10 1/2. It seems all waterproof, breathable, lite wt, and mid cut boots go from 10 to 11 in size. Any advice??

You could try Saloman mids they do the GTX mids in your size and from what I can see there is little if any leather on them.

Is 10.5 your normal shoe size? Or is that your size with the type of hiking sock(s) you wear while your are wearing the same sized pack loaded with the weight you plan to carry?

As a fellow newbie, I have some advice.

Go to a proper shop, and get measured. I did.

I have been wearing size 12s for years and years. I found out only after being measured that I have size 9.5 on one foot, and 10 on the other. And my shorter foot is wider.

No-one on the Internet is going to be able to advise you on which boots to buy. It is like telling someone how to do a haircut over the phone.

This is being measured on REI. I have bought 2 pair but have been to hot. 10 1/2 seem to be good. Thank you

Just keep in mind that a measurement is only one assessment of a proper fit.
