SPDPP to Carrion de los Condes Sept 2013. returning end of August 2014 to complete caminio
Has anyone any up to date info on buses from Palencia to Carrion de los Condes? Town website claims 3 a day but warns of possible cuts. Cannot find a bus timetable of route or indeed any information about the existence of this route.. Want to start in Carrion as this is where we stopped last September. Flying to Madrid and planning to get train to Palencia.
Thanks

Other options to the bus service by Estebanez Aja:

ALSA operates a bus between Burgos and Leon with one that stops at Carrion de los Condes daily in either direction.

You can catch Renfe train from Palencia to Osorno and catch the ALSA bus there.

We took a bus from Palencia to Condes last October.
It was late afternoon and the bus station was deserted until bus time. No one to ask for info.
It would be good if you can get a current schedule before you get there so you will know what is scheduled.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
