Time of past OR future Camino
Via Serrana, Via de la Plata, Via Sanabres (April)
My wife and I are starting our second and third (respectively) caminos on April 20. We're looking forward to the Portuguese as a new challenge, and look forward to meeting new and wonderful pilgrims throughout the journey. If we run (or rather walk) into you, all the better.

See you on the trail, or path, or road, or in the albergue, or cafe or bar or wherever...

Bom caminho
We follow you beginning of May

Hi, My wife and I are starting from Lisbon on May 7. We're going to Santiago and then walking on to Finisterre and up to Muxia. Maybe we'll cross paths. Bon Caminho.

Depends on where you'll start and which caminho you'll walk. From Lisbon, Porto, interior or coastal ?
From Lisbon, interior (apart from out of Porto for a day or so...)

We should be a bit ahead of you, but you never know...

It could be that we will meet somewhere at the end of the trip around Redondelaa or Padron to Santiago. We will start in Vilarinho just outside Porto but head for the coast at casa da Fernanda so the comming meetingpoint will be Redondela.
From there we head west but after 4 days we will arrive in Padron.

Bom caminho anyway

We are planning to start 3 or 4 April in Porto.
We just decided to go couple days ago and not ready at all. I am a little stressed and trying to find out what we need and what to buy, where to walk and where to stay for night.
Did anybody think to come to SdC from the end Caldas de Reis - Fisterra - Muxia - SdC?

What you leave home ,you do not need to carry !

On this Santiago forum you'll find millions of lists , how to pack your backpack and what you need and what you don't need..
Never been to Fisterre or Muxia. Does not attract me personally.

You'll be fine - just go at your own pace - anything you don't have you can get, and part of the joy of the camino is not being sure about where you'll stay/eat/be at the end of the day.

Oh and be aware that the walk from SdC to Finisterre is quite challenging with a lot of bitumen and some pretty steep/rocky downhill sections (on the way into Cee almost did for me). Can't comment on Muxia - hoping to do that on this trip (inshallah)

I am doing my second Camino this April. Last year I did the Camino Francés from SPP. Now i plan to sstart in Guimaraes or Braga, hadn't made my mind yet....which route are you following?. I am apnish but live in London, I am first going to Madrid, and on to Porto on 4 April,. I will stay tthree days in Porto sightseeing and will gt the coach to the starting point.....see you and buen camino

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
