      Bevskia, to answer your question, it depends. Spanish train ticket prices are dynamic, like plane tickets . You may be able to buy a ticket in advance which is cheaper than a full priced ticket with discount. Or not. There's a full explanation...

      For over 65s travelling in Portugal there's a 50% discount. You just need to show your passport when you buy tickets at a station, or even on a train.
