Camino Angels - please contribute YOUR story!

Dear fellow pelegrinas/os,

I am always inspired by stories I have heard or read about 'Camino Angels' - often strangers that come to your rescue just when you are about to give up, have lost your way or are just plain in trouble be it physically, emotionally or spiritually. I too have been blessed by many 'random' acts of kindness during my Caminos! This got me thinking...it would be really nice to collect these stories and share. I know that there have been threads on similar topics such as the current one:
http://www.caminodesantiago.me/board/miscellaneous-topics/topic11032.html
but I decided a couple of days ago to start a FB page for just that - sharing Camino Angel stories.

If you would like to contribute your story (or picture) please check out the page: https://www.facebook.com/CaminoAngels. This is a first for me so please help it grow (or at least press 'like' :wink!

Look forward to reading your story (or stories)!!! The first 2 are already posted (look at recent posts).

Cheers,
LT
p.s. this is not at all meant to replace this wonderful site - just another venue for telling your story!

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
What a good idea!
When I was planning my book, I asked pilgrims to send me their stories of Camino angels or devils, weird-but-wonderful and strange-but-true stories or anecdotes. Each of the 18 chapters in my book ends with a pilgrim story.
I'll log onto Facebook and join your new page!

Hope you do Sil and pass on the word! Reading them is as inspiring for a newbie as for a repeat offender .

What a nice idea to end each chapter with such a story!

Cheers,
p.s. working on assignments 2 & 3!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thank you Rioja Routard for pointing this out. Wow you are a true Forum veteran!
Any new stories to share  ?

Would also like to collect interesting/fun/special waymarkers so please stop by the page. My hard-drive crashed in December and so all my pictures from the Camino Francés from SJPdP to Fisterra are lost . Now only have those from the Via de la Plata to share...that is until my next Camino!
