Camino de Levante / Camino Sureste

Folks...

Top of the morning........
I am pondering doing the Camino de Levante or the Camino Sureste around mid-November to late December... These routes seem to be quite similar: wide open, flat, rural, desolate, long, lonely, quiet....They go through many of the same towns, share many of the same views....

Can you think of any reasons to do one instead of the other....? Is it possible that there might be more alberge's available on the Levante route in that season..?

As always, any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.

Go well,
WS

Hi, stranger

I did Levante two years ago (skipped Toledo-Avila stretch because of heat and some technical problems though) and from my experience where Levante and Sureste overlapping the later was better marked. Maybe Sureste was marked before Levante so the Levante Amigos didn't really have to do much more. Otherwise Levante is better marked each year as I can read in other members posts, quite a few of them walked it this year (search in Levante section).

Buen Camino!
