St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Actually, the forcast for the next 3 days is iffy but as soon as I get in a plane it becomes beautiful .

The route to Fiaterra sees many albergues full at the moment, with people without reservations being turned away. Apparently the backpack transport guy for the area schlpets between 50 and 80 bags a day these days, and his own albergue with a capacity of 80 is almost full each night.

I have been booking 24 hours ahead of time and happy to have done so.

But I also am feeling a bit of Camino blah, wondering why I planned on 3 weeks.... But perhaps it's all this rain causing the blues.

The rain certainly doesn't help. But I have been remembering last year when I had completed a fabulous and peaceful Camino Mozárabe - I carried on to Finisterre and was really uncomfortable with the number and volume of pilgrims walking from Santiago. I am really happy with my decision, even if the sun decides to shine after all.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
