I've just listened to a recent episode of The Camino Podcast. A conversation with Nancy Frey - the author of "Pilgrim Stories: On and Off the Road to Santiago, Journeys Along an Ancient Way in Modern Spain". Some interesting reflections on the changing character of pilgrimage to Santiago over the three decades since her own first journey in 1993. Also some discussion on the use of mobile phones and other tech and on the relative merits and drawbacks of solo versus group travel.
