Detailed City Map of Sarria

Completed Sarria to Santiago June (2016)
Greetings,
I'm looking for a detailed map of Sarria including such things as where the pharmacies are, banks, tourist office for credential, grocery stores etc. I'll be arriving in the late afternoon and need to get stuff before my walk starts the next morning. I guess I can ask at the hotel where I'm staying, but if there is a map out there I would find it useful. Anyone?
Thanks!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

For the moment why not use Google maps to see an on-line map of Sarria? You can search for the bus station or train station as well as your first night accommodation spot, etc. Browsing the on-line map will help give you a sense of the town.

If you are unfamiliar with Google maps here is an easy link to Sarria info. When the page loads at the upper right will be a map marked with a red dot for the Sarria rr station. Zoom in and out with your mouse to see more.

Happy research and Buen camino!

Thank you Mspath for the helpful information. I appreciate your help.

Pretty much everything you will need is on the one main pilgrim street of Sarria after you go up the steep stairs.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Steep Steps? Already?! lol Just kidding.

This map is from the Brierley guidebook. As you enter Sarria there is a turismo office right on the Camino. They are very gracious and helpful and can give you a detailed map of Sarria and show you where everything is and they will stamp your pilgrim's passport as well.
As you see, it's really not that big a town. Easy enough to find everything, believe me.
cheers and ultreia

Hey, thanks so much! I KNEW I saw that map somewhere! There it was right under my nose all the time. Sometimes things get a little overwhelming and disorganized with all the details that need planning. Once I get myself out of Sarria and onto the Camino I'm just going to ease off and go with the flow.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
