Hi there, I am from Cape Town, South Africa and planning to do the Camino in October 2014. In order to enjoy and complete this wonderful privilege, I want to spend at least 35 days on this walk. Looking forward to the research and planning as I am new to traveling abroad and so far not part of any group.. Happy planning

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Welcome to the forum Annescan,

I'm also going to start in SJPdP in early October. Hope we cross paths :)

Enjoy your research, it adds to the feeling of preparing for, as you so eloquently stated, a wonderful privilege.

Bon Camino!

Hi, I am starting Camino on 8th October. Excited but also feeling quite nervous now, particularly about the first day from SJPdP to Ronscevalles. Hope we meet en route.

Hi Belina, I'm leaving on the 5th or 6th (I'm guessing - trying not to plan too much). Hope to see you at some stage. And all the best.

Bon Camino!

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
