Hi Folks,
I'll be 60 next year (sure comes along quick) and have wanted to do the walk ever since I heard about it. Currently living in the UK but originally from Rhodesia, and to the younger readers Zimbabwe.
I was planning to do it this September but because of work demands it seems to be slipping into 1st or 2nd week of October. I only have a week so will be doing the first short section fron SJPP to Pamplona, which means I can dwaddle along.
Thanks to all for the great comments and advice.
Regards
Dino

Welcome! When you get a departure date, I will put you on the Calendar. In the meantime, keep looking at the information and advice here.

Buen camino.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Dino!

There was a thread a few months ago about whether or not to stay in Larrasoana, which you might want to look at. Larrasoana is the suggested staging point in John Brierley's guide so many people end up there while they're still 'finding their feet' and following the book to the letter. Other people think Zubiri is a better place to stay (just a few kms before), but you can make your own mind up based on the info there.

Muy Buen Camino!
