Time of past OR future Camino
2009 (from Sarria), 2014 from St Jean Pied de Port, 2016 from Porto, 2018 from Le Puy to Santiago.
Hi, I have been lurking for a while but have got active in the last few weeks after getting back to Perth Australia, after walking (and blogging) for nearly three months, starting in Le Puy and finishing in Santiago. Still blogging - as just about everything reminds me about someone or something related to the Camino. This one was inspired by the World Toilet Day on Monday, 19 November. https://readingontheroad54893552.wordpress.com/2018/11/23/when-nature-calls/

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Interesting but I never seem the toilet paper like you photographed - was that taken in France.

Dog walkers on the Camino routinely scoop the poop.

Surely peregrinos should do the same

Yes, I have seen toilet paper like this behind bushes in many places along the Frances route while taking 'my turn', although I leave no trace. Rarely have I seen this amount of tp on the Norte/Primitivo and never on the Le Puy.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I beg to disagree about the Le Puy route. You walked in May this year, I walked in Sept and by then there were several places where there was bad toilet paper - often actually on the edge of the path. OK, it was nothing like as bad as on the CF in Sept, n doubt thanks to all those communal bogs, but it was by no means absent. I think the winter snows had cleared the previous year's 'offerings' away when you walked. TP does break down when thoroughly wet.

If I could play a harmonium, I would be doing so in delight of your writing.

Please interpret as a compliment. I could listen for extended periods of time to this beloved reed instrument played by Hari Krishna whenever they gather. Bottom line here: I look forward to reading more of your stories.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
