-need good maps for the route from Pamplona to the point where you can hitc on to the Viejo Camino.
That would be around Aguilar de Campoo ?

Reading the pdf, I see that from Pamplona, once one gets to Salvatierra clear through Vitoria-Gasteiz or Miranda de Ebro, the way follows the Vasco/Via de Bayona. Which makes things easy: it's both well-marked and well-serviced. After that comes the 'interesting' part.
