Time of past OR future Camino
2019
I am travelling from Canada in Sept., arriving to the Paris airport CDG in the morning of the 2nd. I plan to get a cheap flight to Biarritz. I wonder if the shuttle bus from the Biarritz airport to the Bayonne train station is free and easy to locate. If it is not free, how much is it? Approximately how much would the train fare be to STPDP and how long would it take. Thanks!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Karinhi,

Check out section 2153 in this Forum thread for info re Biarritz to Bayonne to SJPdP.

Happy planning and Buen camino!

The local bus system is operated by Chronoplus. The bus from Biarritz to Gare Bayonne is bus #14. When I took it in 2012 it cost 1 euro. The bus driver was unhappy that all I had was a 20 euro note. Travel time is about 40 minutes. Biarritz airport is small. The bus stop is at the front door.

The train ... #62 ... from Bayonne to St Jean Pied de Port is operated by SNCF TER Aquitaine. The fare costs about 10 euro. Travel time is about 1 hour.
