Hi everyone - even though this is an American holiday, I think/hope it pertains to us on this forum. I want to thank Ivar and others who work/post on this site for all their input and help as I was getting ready for my camino, and then to all of those who I feel I've gotten to know over the past year through their posts. I am so thankful this forum, exists - it keeps me connected on a daily basis with the camino, with the thoughts, hopes and wishes of all the members - in other words, it keeps me sane until I can go back. We've all commented on the addiction, but unfortunately unless you've done it, family and friends get a little sick of hearing how wonderful it was. So a huge thank you to my new, very extended family. May we all enjoy and benefit from what the camino has taught us, be thankful that we've been given the opportunity to go on this incredible walk, and may we all get to go back soon. And I'm adding a new tradition to Thanksgiving at our house this year - Tarta de Santiago. Buenas noches - Cherry

A nice post @cherrys and a great thought for a "thanksgiving" tradition, regardless of whether one is American - Tarta de Santiago. I might make it for Christmas lunch. Makes more sense in a hot Aussie summer than boiled plum pudding with brandy sauce!

Happy Thanksgiving. Every day is a thanksgiving one for me, but especially those when on our beloved Camino.
