Portuguese Coastal last 100 km (Sep - Oct 2019)
Hello,

I am new here and will be doing the Camino walk for the first time. Doing the last 100 km of the Portuguese Coastal way route. I will be landing on the 18th of September in Santiago de Compostela. I found a bus that will take me from the airport to the bus station, and from the bus station to Vigo. But having difficulties to locate a transport from Vigo to Baiona, as this is where my walk would start. Any advice? Thanks!

There is a municipal bus - we took one from Baiona to Vigo. I don't recall the number or bus line. It was just a municipal bus. We got on across from the marina and the ocean.

If the previous posts don't give you the info you need, try emailing your question to the tourist office in Vigo. I'm pretty sure they will help you. We went there twice in May of this year and they were great.

On the Vigo bus station, there's bus that goes to Baiona. It's on stops 10, 11, 12, downstairs. You just arrive on time to your bus and pay to the driver. It was something like €3. There's no need to book, the bus has plenty of seats but it gets full while picking up people at the many stops of Vigo. There are many stops in Baiona by the sea front so it's very easy to get it near the hotels.

Do the buses from Baiona to Vigo run on the weekends please. I'm going May 2020 but need to lock in travel plans now

Hi there
Acconding to the flyer above, they do ("Domingos and Festivos" means "Sundays and Holidays"). I wouldn't worry about that now. If there aren't buses, you can always take a taxi, and they are cheap.

If I may suggest something, be as flexible as possible to the idea of not having a detailed travel plan - in the camino, many things may happen and change your entire trip.
