Does anyone the best way of getting from toulouse to roncevalles

Probably best to go to St Jean - via Bayonne by train: There are shuttles every 20 mins from Toulouse airport to the SNCF station (or close to it) in Toulouse. From Toulouse to Bayonne - 3.45 hours and from Bayonne to St Jean - 1.30 hours. And from there get a taxi or hitch a lift to Roncesvalles.

Any idea what the cost of a taxi would be to go from SJ to Roncesvalles?

Ideally, one would take the Arles route to Orolon-St Marie where it intersects the Piedmont Pyrenees route. Continue to St. Jean Pied de Port. Roncevalles is just over the hill from there. About 350 km to SJPP.

The taxi can cost as little as 9 euro if Caroline can fill up her Express Bouricott .
