Camino francès (2013) sept.
Hi, I'am from Canada, I'll be starting the camino francès from St Jean pied-de-port at the beginning of september. Walking alone. Planning to have my first night at Orisson.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
HI Beldelune, welcome :) Great you are walking Camino in September....will be an enjoyable unforgettable experience. Will also be walking my first Camino in mid Sept. :)

Buen Camino

Hi there ... I, too, am setting foot on the Camino for the first time around the same time you are. In a few minutes, I'm heading out the door with backpack to do a training session in the beautiful Comox Valley (Vancouver Island, BC). May your preparations go smoothly. Perhaps we'll meet somewhere on our way. Until then ... :) Joan

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Hello from Victoria BC! My husband and I started our first Camino mid-Sep of last year, and it was perfect weather for walking (until Galicia in mid Oct!). We were glad that we had done some hill training with our loaded backpacks, and had very little difficulty with the more challenging sections of the Camino. The fellowship with the other pilgrims is so special, and we may have to go back to experience that again! Buen Camino to you!

Another Canadian here! I'll be walking next March. I hope that you'll post your impressions of your camino when you're done!

I'm Jay and you can probably figure my origin through my username. I'm an old codger and have completed 1800 miles of the AT, hiked across and rafted the length of the Grand Canyon and hiked extensively in Europe. Unfortunately, that was then and this is now. I'm embarrassed to say that I had never heard of the Camino until this June when I was hiking in the Pyrenees, probably just a few miles from Roncesvalles. Now I am committed to trying the Camino in April, 2014 and look forward to following your posts in the meantime.

Hello Beldelune,

I'm Lynne and I'm from California but I live in the UK, I'm starting at St. Jean on the 1st of September. I'm on the fence about starting that day or waiting until the second. Well happy travels and maybe I'll see you all on the road.
