Its odd but I am finishing my camino at Molineseca and want to take a bus from Leon. Someone told me thta I need to get to Ponferrda by foot or taxi its 5 km them take a bus to Leon.

Does anyone know how frequent that is? I want to book a train ticket from Leon to Bilbao since I am flying the day after so I want to get to Leon asap so I can catch the 3pm train from Leon to Bilbao.

thanks in advance.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

There are buses almost hourly from Ponferrada to Leon fewer on Saturday and Sunday.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
You will have no problem getting a bus from Ponferrada to Leon that fits your schedule. Here is the website to use to check the timetables in advance: http://www.movelia.es/en/index.html

The bus company is Alsa, but I've found their website to be moody (www.alsa.es).

Coming from Molinaseca, the bus station in Ponferrada is on the far side of town, past the historic center. It's not directly on the Camino trail, more like one major street over, so you might want to consult a map to find it.

The bus station in Leon is about 300 meters from the train station, right down the street. The historic center of Leon is about a 10-15 minute walk from both, in case you have time to wander around a bit.

1331 train runs from Ponferrada to Leon and continues on to Bilbao.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

It doesn't like planning journeys more than about a month away I found. It'll just come back with no buses available.

Buying tickets on a non-Spanish card appears hard as well but they now accept Paypal which does work for foreign accounts.
