This week I finally did something I should have done awhile ago. With my next Camino coming up soon, visits to this forum are VERY frequent lol. I thought about how much I would miss this forum if it wouldn't be here for me to vent about the Camino ......for me to read about the Camino....for me to ask questions about the Camino....etc etc.....you get it....all the usual So I finally became a donating member (which was a 2 minute process.)......I am NOT looking for "good for you" (and I am in NO way involved with running this forum) I'm just grateful that it's here for all of us to go to. So I'm hoping that lots of pilgrims who use this site will do the same....so this forum will and can stay alive . I'm not trying to guilt anybody into it, but if I do....sorry ha ha So here one more time in words too THANK YOU to ALL of you who run this forum and all of you who take the time to read and respond to everybody !!!!!

Thanks for the reminder! I need to renew my donation and have been procrastinating....I greatly value this forum.

I too would like to thank everyone for keeping me amused, asking questions that I hadn't thought of and getting sensible answers too! I have stumped up a few euros as a "thank you" and I am sure my journey will be the better for the advice on packing and what to leave behind, the pointers of where the best albergues are and countless other points of camino etiquette.
I know that I don't need to bring a sleeping mat, or a Scrubba or tent and that I've only got 5 minutes to shower at Orisson. In fact I'm pleased that the recommendation to stay in Orisson was so overwhelming in the Forum as it also coincides with the advice to start slow and ease into the camino.
I'm grateful for all the advice on blister protection and how much/little water I need to carry.
Most of all I like that fact that people are prepared to offer advice and help even though English isn't their first language.
