Looking for walking companions

Time of past OR future Camino
First camino for me.
Hi all,
I'm walking from Roncesvalles to Santiago between 18th July and 14th August 2015 and I'm looking for walking companions. It's my first camino (in training already) I'm British and will be on my own (I'm 35). Is there anyone out there who is planning a similar trip and would like to do some days or a stage with me? If so do get in touch (I promise I don't talk too much...)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hola, Rachel!

These days such a sincerity is hard to find
Sorry, I can't help you really because I'll start walking from Valencia on Camino de Levante on Monday (June (th), but will be in Santiago somewhere at the end of July and will go on to Muxia & Fisterra. If you want to join at that point you're more than welcome!

Ultreia!

PS (Put your starting date in the Forum Calendar. That might help.)

Hi Rachel.

I'm just completing my first Camino from St Jean to Santiago.

I wouldn't worry too much about organizing walking companions. You'll find dozens of suitable candidates every day!

And they will find you.....

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

You might start off alone but you won't have to stay that way very long. You will meet people, walk with them, lose them, meet new friends, meet the old ones, etc

Hi Rachel
Once you are there and walking you are going to meet some of the most friendly sociable kindest people than you ever dreamed of. Relax, let it happen, and enjoy the Camino!
Buen Camino

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
See Cailin O Erie in the other post above:
"This is just a general post so I'll keep it short and sweet. Firstly, I left Ireland on my own to walk this stretch of the camino, nervous and excited. I wasn't alone for long I met others at the airport and then more in Saint Jean and we soon became a camino family. I never felt alone or afraid and I enjoyed learning a few bits of Danish from my Danish walking comrades and some American lingo from Anny the Taiwanese/American lady and the Dublin lingo from Brian. So that is just for those who may be nervous about setting out on this journey alone, you wont be alone. I can't recall a section of the path without others in front of behind. It's really busy...

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Don't worry, after you begin your journey there are many people on the same wayas you . You will make lots off new friends along the way, you will walk with them and talk with them. Wish you well and a Buen Camino, Peter.
