España seguirá manteniendo la mascarilla obligatoria en el transporte público - http://www.lavozdegalicia.es/notici...ransporte-publico/00031670578602153286941.htm
Just a heads up to make sure you have a few masks when you arrive in Spain as they are still required on buses, trains, and taxis. We saw people denied boarding last summer even with a valid ticket if they did not have a mask. Drivers and conductors are very insistent after you board if they see you take it off, too.

@J Willhaus is correct. Currently masks are still required on public transport in Spain.

Comments reflecting personal opinion on wearing a mask are not useful.

According to the Spanish government's Travel Safe website:

Use of face masks
In Spain, as of 20 April 2022 it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask indoors or outdoors with certain exceptions.

You must wear a mask:

1. When travelling by plane, train or bus, as well as in all other public transport.
