Times Picayune Keeping the Faith Church Bulletin: In the Middle Ages, one of the most important pilgrim destinations was Santiago de Compostela in Spain, the site where the relics of James, patron saint of Spain, were buried. Pilgrims of all classes came to Santiago, some to atone for sins, some to pray for healing or for favors, some for the adventure. The long, arduous journey was eased with music. In "A Pilgram's Progress," Musica da Camera with Vox Feminae create a pilgrim's experiences with special songs, dances and instruments.

"A Pilgram's Progress, Music of a Medieval Journey on the Road to Santiago" will be presented April 13 at 4 p.m., Ursuline Chapel, 2701 State St. in Uptown New Orleans and on April 20, 3 p.m., Holy Name of Mary Church, 500 Eliza St., Algiers Poin
