After Primitivo, any suggestions for a route to Santiago other than the Frances?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi, Steeltown,

There is a way to go from Lugo (on the Primitivo) to Arzua via Sobrado dos Monxes, but that only keeps you off the Francés for about 15 kms. I have walked the Norte through Sobrado dos Monxes, and I´ve walked the Primitivo but I´ve never made the connection between the two. There are others who have, though, you can get some information here:

When will you be walking the Primitivo? Buen camino, Laurie

Hi Laurie,
I actually walked El Norte this year so I walked the Sobrado to Azua to Santiago bit. If I do the Primitivo in 2014, I should be there sometime in April. My plan is Aragones, bit of Frances, then Salvador, then Primtivo. At the moment, there is still the chance I may scrap all that and do Via de Plata--depends on dates--I'm still juggling but should know soon.

Hello, I am having trouble finding any information regarding the stages on the Verde. Is there a current thread, please? Where would I cross over to the Verde from the Primitivo and is there...
