My flight is booked so no turning back.

As I look back over the last few years I can't even recall how I first heard about the Camino.

All I know is I have had a desire, in fact a calling for many years now to spend a period of time travelling both alone and in the company of fellow pilgrims. I have dreamed of sitting somewhere high up listening to the wind and reconnecting with my inner self.

So last weekend I booked my flight to Biarritz on the 13th May and I set off for Santiago on the 14th, my aim is to meet my partner around the 12-13 th of June.

I am so excited that I am finally comitted to this journey and can't wait to meet other pilgrims on their journies.

If you are planning to walk in May this year say "hi".

Fantastic that you're are finally answering the call. We go when its time and never before. It took 13 years after my call that I finally walked. Its almost as if we have to be prepared by life in some way. So have a wonderful experience, and buen camino!
