thinking of doing Camino Portugues next year is it best to start from Lisbon or Santiago? What are the prices of the albergue?

Hi pip, you'll find that there are many more people going from Lisbon to Santiago, than the other way around. Let us know what other questions you have and Buen Camino!

Well, the goal of this pilgrimage is to get to Santiago so from Lisbon it is.

This being said, there are also blue arrows that take people south to Fatima, if you really want to walk in that direction. Bit they won't get you to Lisbon.

Yes they will if you turn around when you get to Fatima and walk backwards
