Beautiful Spring day here in Jerusalem for our Purim Carnival festival. Usually the kids get all dressed in their costumes and finery and then it blows blustering rain all day long but not this year, sunny blue skies and warm Spring weather. Was down by the Dead Sea, coming out of a canyon filled with caves when I came across this beauty washed down by the last big winter inundation. True, Saint James is one of our boys, born and raised only 150 kilometers north of the Dead Sea, but as usual, once you have been drawn to him, have been smitten in admiration and appreciation, he too will follow and guide you even when far off the Camino. A man you can trust!

Beautiful said and beautiful rock, thanks for sharing @scruffy1.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
That looks more like an ammonite to me,rather than a pectin, but can’t be sure

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Awesome find (gift)! Thank you for sharing.
