It looks like about 1,797 compostelas, up about 8% from December 2013. A sudden burst of over 100 per day for the last two days kept the numbers from dropping from last year! Happy New Year.

Now the number is 1,870, strong growth from December 2013.

I miss Johnnie...

A lot. I sincerely hope he had a very good Shikoku Pilgrimage (the 88 temple walk on the Island of Shikoku, Japan) and a fabulous holiday season with lots of good cheer.

Anyone know when he may reappear?

Happy New Year to all!
