Camino Primitivo September 2013
We walked into Santiago, having completed the Primitivo-------------turns out this was the most amazing experience of our lives. We LOVED LOVED LOVED IT............(even though I broke my foot the first morning of the first day--a small break and I didn't know it was broken, thank goodness) Here's the thing, we have traveled a lot, ,seen and done a great day but no journey hit every note like this one---physical, spritual, mental, emotional, cultural. We made life long pals, had the most amazing Primitivo perrigrino familia ( ranged in age from 17 to me, at 61, we hit ever decade between those ages, had 1 Czech , 2 Cypriots, 2 Americanos (us) and 6 Spaniards-----what a time we all had, together, alone, alone together, supporting, holding, checking, celebrating, laughing (boy did we laugh a lot) and walking, walking, walking with blister, ankle, knee, back and foot pain............Yay for us, yay for the Prinitivo and yay for this forum, for all that walk this walk, and joy joy joy on this, and every day!

Thanks to those of you who have wished me Buen Camino pm! My plan was Salvador/Prim, but 1) cold feet because of a knee (old injury) and 2) would have to rush with no possibilty of short/rest...
