As one who regularly seeks out a proper pedicure during or after a Camino.... OUCH!

Reminds me of a mate who used a Dremel grinder to smooth down a broken tooth

If you think you can do pedicure w a Dremel, say, you will find that it will get much too hot where you apply the abrasion and that the skin actually later produces more callous skin to counteract this procedure....
just saying...
let us hope it was a joking picture !

On a completely different track, when we were coming home after our hike in France, we got foot massages in the CDG airport. It was awesome! We both felt like we were walking on air afterwards. Was it expensive? It was an airport in France, so of course it was expensive! But totally worth it.
