Over the past 6 months the 'Camino' has been in my thoughts. I completed my first camino in June 2012 having reached the Cathedrial on my 49th Birthday and to my surprise and realisation, both my twin sisters (I am a triplet) having completed El Camino del Norte on bike the previous year arrived on our 47th birthday. Go figure. This time I am planning to start in Bayonne and travel through El Interior and join the camino frances in Burgos and through to Finisterra. What I am mostly attracted too is the spirit of the camino, the lifetime friendships established and the constant support not only from my fellow pilgrams but from the residents along the way.
I consider myself as a novice amongst all of you wonderful pilgrims’ and I thank you for your information. I read each and every question / answer provided and this site has provided me and continues to provide me with everything I need. I haven't made any plans other than book my flight. Like the last camino, I will just go with the flow and let the camino speak to me.
Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Buen Camino and hope to meet some of you on this wonderful journey.
