Hi,

Don't have enough time to do the whole walk so we are flying into Bilbao and getting a bus to Belorado....Im wondering if anyone knows how much it is roughly and whether we should book in advance if so where from? I've tried on one website moviela or something but it doesn't let me book it comes up with error

Also does anyone know if we will be able to pick up a pilgrims passport in Belorado?

Appreciate any advice/help! Thank you

Alex

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Bilbao bus station (search - estation de autobuses Bilbao)

Top Right Corner press English
Middle Left press timetables
Enter Bilbao and Belorado

On the dates I tried there was one bus. 1515 - 1703 Monday to Saturday.

The link to the bus line works but not long enough to get schedule confirmation or price...

I don't know if you can get a credencial in Belorado. Maybe you can get one from your local pilgrim society before you travel?

I tried ALSA buses but I have problems with their site. I checked with:
http://www.autobuseslaunion.com/en/ and could confirm whariwharangi search. The buses leaves Bilbao mon-sat at 15:15, mon-fri at 17:00 (change in Haro) and on sun at 19:30 (http://www.autobuseslaunion.com/PDF/Bil ... lorado.pdf).

You can also check connections to Burgos or Sto.Domingo de la Calzada which are more frequent. I think you could get credencial there easily. But I'm not sure for Belorado.

All the best!

Hi Ales,

If you start in Belorado and you want to stay in a nice pension , please do try this one. http://www.casawaslala.com/
The owner and his wife are experienced pilgrims. I'm more than certain they also will know where you can get the necessary documents. Lovely people!
Buen Camino!

If you have the Brierley book you don't need the credencial, there are pages in the back where you may collect your sellos and they will be accepted in Santiago all the same.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Alex,

As cited on Ivar's wonderful Forum list of "all" albergues on the Camino Frances the Albergue Quatro Cantones in Belorado, calle Hipólito López Bernal 10, provides Credentials. You need not stay there in order to obtain one. See >> http://www.caminodesantiago.me/camino-f ... -belorado/

Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith

Thank you! Does anyone know how much the bus will be from bilbao to belorado? We are students and trying to figure out how much money we need to bring with us. We are also flying back to england from bilbao so we will need to get a train/bus from santiago to bilbao does anyone know how much that will be?

Thank you!!!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Thank you! Going to book the Santiago bus but will have to buy the belorado one when I arrive as can't seem to find anywhere with details thanks for everyone's help
