Porto to Santiago, May 24, 2018

Hi Everyone!! This is my first entry, my first Camino. I have been reading so many of the exciting and helpful entries in the forum. Thank you, to all of you, the newbies and seasoned walkers. I have learned so much and still combing through information.
I will be traveling alone with an open mind and heart, trying not to over plan my stages, I am allowing 12 days on the path to Santiago. I just made reservations at Casa de Fernanda and learned that I will be sharing the night with 9 students and 1 teacher from California. I too am from California. Though I was thinking I would meet people from around the world, I am looking at this as part of The Way to whatever it is I am going to learn as a Pilgrim. Fernanda was such a joy to talk too I am thrilled!

Ken and I are starting our camino from Porto on May 24th as well. Maybe we will meet up. We are taking 16 days

Hi Shirley and Ken,
Wish you a wonderful caminho! I hope we do run into each other! My first stop with be Vila do Cordo. I am taking 12 days with some extra days if I need/want them. I'm getting very excited!!!! I just need more time for training walks!
