Jill wants to walk that same stretch of the Camino Portuguese We will probably look at the end of September or first week of October.

Hola Dave - from what I have read and studied walking the Portuguese from Porto - via the coastal root is somewhat easier and the coastal views overcome the fact that you are still walking on a man made surface. Cheers

I walked the Portuguese camino last spring after completing the beautiful cliff walk on the Rota Vicentina's Fisherman's Trail. I'd already seen so many beautiful coves in over a week of walking that I was ready to turn inland at Vila do Conde to the central route, which was the better choice for me.
