Question about Spanish

Time of past OR future Camino
2006 to date: Over 21 Caminos. See signature line
Can someone explain to me the difference between using "dele" and "deme" in Spanish? (I cannot put in the accent marks)

Dele un boligrafo

Deme un paraguas

What is the difference?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Annie, "déle" means "give (it)to him/her" and "déme" means "give (it) to me" in polite speech, someone you would call "usted".
The difference talking to a friend you call "tú" would be "dale un bolígrafo" and ""dame un paraguas".
Ok?
Josefine
