A few days ago, my wife and I decided to go to old town for dinner. We had heard good things about "Restaurante Rua Nova", so we decided to try it out.
The restaurant is located in Rua Nova 36 and looks like any restaurants in town from the outside, but what I really liked about it was the food. Usually the restaurants in Santiago all have good food, but this one was something special. They make the typical Galicia food, to a good price and good quality.
They had the "Menu do Dia" even for dinner (this is normally offered only for lunch), and as you can see the price is nice and no lack of food.
If you have not ordered at a Spanish restaurant before, this is how it works. You pick one item from the "Primeiros" (starters), then one from the "Segundos". In this case one glass of wine, bread and dessert is included. All of this for 12,50 euro.
