Hi, is anyone arriving at Biarritz today? Apparently the trains are cancelled from Bayonne to SJPP and two of us were hoping to taxi share. Or if someone had a better idea?
Many thanks

Have you tried Express Bourricott, they may have a taxi arriving later today that could help

Edit: Just looked they have a taxi from the airport at:-
14h00 from 48€
17h45 From 20€/p

We are arriving in Bayonne in about an hour....the sncf website says that they will still be running a bus to replace the train today, but it looks like a longer journey. Guess we'll get the real story at the station. If it really is four hours to bus, we might just pay for the taxi from Bayonne.

In 2017 arrived at train station to find it was being replaced by a bus—rains in the previous days had done some damage to the tracks. The bus still pulled in to every train stop to pick up or drop off passengers. All depends how important it is to you for a faster journey

When I was there in 2010, the train was cancelled but they had busses replacing the trains. The problem with the bus is that it stopped in each and every town it passed, often having to pull off of the highway and go into the central part of the towns/villages. I did not time it but it did seem to take forever. In 2018, I took the Express Bourricott. It was so much faster, the driver was very friendly, and it dropped you off right in the centre of SJ whereas the train leaves you on the edge of the city. You need to book with Express Bouricott in advance.

We are on the bus now. The website says four hours, and the woman in the station says 90 minutes. Guess I am going to find out who is right!
Hey let us know how the timing works out!
