As I started to plan walking from Logrono, I saw a reference to grape stomping , for wine, in Logrono around the festival of San Mateo, September 21. Anybody have any information about this?

Can just anybody do the stomping? Could be another entry on my bucket list... Grin.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

As you approach logrono from vianna you will see the vino warehouses in front of you, short detour to your left and away you go. It took us 3 days to get out of there, it was September and that's how long it took us visit the 12 vineries. Cant remember getting any sleep. Lost a lot of sweat on way to burgos. Buen camino

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
So did you stomp? And the festivities are on the outskirts, down the hill from the Cathedral?

Sounds like a worthwhile time-out on the Way! Grin.
