Just letting others who might be in Logroño know that tomorrow is a festival of San Isidro. This involves Mass at noon at the church of Santiago and then a procession to go out and bless the fields.

Thank you for sharing this information. We’ve just arrived in Logroño and are having a rest day. It is always special to see a festival on the Camino.

In my Facebook memories today from 2017 I was in Puente la Riena and the festival was going on. The church bells rang for about an hour and there was a huge procession thru town. I thought it was a funeral until I found someone who spoke English to explain. It was beautiful to watch.
