Thanks for the link Agnogel; it was very moving. I hope we are able to find out how he gets on.

Given his exceptional background you just have to believe he will make it

Very touching, I feel the same Kevin, wondering how he will get on. Wishing him the best.

This link doesn't work for me. Is it because I'm in Australia?

No, it doesn't work for me in Florida, either, so not because you're in Australia.

Wow.
I had spinal meningitis at age 7.
I feel blessed the only permanent damage was to my upper spine.

This video was exceptionally inspiring.
Bless him.

Thank you Kevin i have been searching for that link

WOW! I just watched the video. Accessing it from the US (Virginia) was no problem. Liam is one impressive fellow! It would be an honor to share a meal or a walk with him.

Last year, I met a fellow named Dominique from Strasborg, France (I think). He had previously had a stoke affecting his right arm and leg. Nonetheless, he managed to walk from Strasborg to St. Jean Pied de Port, and thence on to Santiago. I met him at Santiago. What a remarkable man! His walking gait was very similar to Liam's and his Camino was far more difficult that mine. But his determination and force of will were truly something to experience.

Both men are to be admired.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Annie, YOU also are an inspiration!! Walking five times with an upper back that might be dicey (you don't elaborate, and one doesn't expect details) just getting your back pack on and off seems pretty - eh - uplifting - so to speak!
