The Fisterre figure seems very low-when I was there in 2007 there were nearly half that number in the albergue in one day. Surprised to see so many Aussies walked the caminoes!

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
I imagine that figure would only represent those who also walked in the reverse direction to finish at Santiago omar.... as I think these stats are just collected from there.

Perhaps there is an AMIGOS office where one can find the number of people who earn the Fistera document?
Rosina will soon let us have the stats on where people started from - will pass them on as soon as I get them.

A selection of Camino Jewellery
By country population, Spain had the most pilgrims, followed by:

Portugal
Austria
Germany
Italy
Belgium
Netherlands
France
Iceland
Canada

South Korea had nearly three times as many pilgrims per capita as the United States!
