Spain Labor Strike?

Hi Everyone:

My intention today was to book a flight to Madrid for arrival on April 13th and depart on May 12th. Does any know/suspect how the labor strike will affect this plan. Should I fly to/from Paris? Is anyone changing their itinerary based on this development?

A Korean woman waited for several hours on Thursday for a bus that never came from Leon to La Virgen del Camino. Thursday was the only huelga day of which I have heard, so changing plans may be premature. Iberia Airline pilots have announced that there will be no flights on Monday and Friday for the next couple of months.

The Spanish unions haven't posted anymore dates for strikes, they give plenty of warning so April should be fine. I wouldn't trust the French either, they strike regularly. As Falcon says it is only Iberia that you need to be wary of in Spain.
