Can anyone comment on how bad the allergy season along the Camino Francis is presently?

I started on the 15th May 2019 and I had some issues along the way. At one point the pollen from a particular tree was like yellow snow. In a couple of other places the air borne seeds were thick in the air but I survived.

There are compensating factors like the cheap and delicious strawberries.
