Would have liked to go, but since I walk alone and am afraid of the moscus, I still haven´t.

I'd be interested to know if @alexwalker has ever walked this route in his homeland.
No, I haven't walked it.

Norway is very expensive compared to most countries in the world. That includes food, accomodation, etc. Weather is also a factor. For me, a Nrow. Camino will be an investment, as a Spanish Camino will be affordable. IMHO.

My son is going for a more affordable version. He left the tent at home after figuring out that the mosquitos LIKED visiting him in it, and is walking long distances (max so far 45 km) between the cheaper options. He is also making all his own food - all the cheap places have cooking facilities, and he can carry a lot more than I can.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
